Do you enjoy fellowship and food? Then, this is the group for you.
Dinner for SIX LIFE Group is just what the name of the group says; an opportunity for church members to gather, eat and talk with one another every week. It doesn’t matter whether you are a couple or single, on the day of the week the LIFE group member’s decide you get together for fellowship and a home cooked meal.
Yes, the members of the group will take turns, cook and share those delicious home recipes you have. Let’s EAT!
Group meets at the time and place of their convenience. Yum!
2- Bookbound Online Reading Club LIFE Group
Enjoy reading? Then, join the Bookbound Online Reading Club LIFE Group. Members of this LIFE Group will comfortably debate chapters of their book selection not ever having left the comfort of their home -or their pajamas-. Yes, the meeting will be online via Google Meet. Using your smartphone or a home computer, the Bookbound Online Reading Club LIFE Group will login and chat about the Book selection for the week.
Group meets all Sundays in October and November from 3:00 to 4:00pm. Join the club!
3- In the WORD LIFE Group
In the WORD LIFE Group is the new name of the Tuesday Bible Study taught by Pastor Luis. Join this vital opportunity to grow in the knowledge of GOD’s Word and to pray. This LIFE group is currently studying the OT Book of Job. The In the WORD LIFE Group’s motto is: Know what you believe and why you believe it!
Group meets on Tuesday from 5 to 6, at the Church Office or online via Google Meet. Happy learning!
4- New Members Class LIFE Group
Would you like to become a member of our Church? Perhaps you would like to know more about the core teachings of the Lutheran Church before you make such a commitment. Well, your opportunity has come. Add your name to this list and learn the basic confessions of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod of which Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a proud member.
This is a 7 meeting class with Pastor Luis in which you will learn:

2- What Lutherans believe: About Us
3- What Lutherans believe: About Being Saved
4- What Lutherans believe: About Faith
5- What Lutherans believe: About Grace
6- What Lutherans believe: About Good Works
7- What Lutherans believe: About Life After Death
Group meets at the Church Office at a TBD day and time that will be convenient to all participants.
5- Cookies, Fellowship and Devotions LIFE Group
Let’s get to know each other better over cookies, fellowship and devotions. Come and enjoy home-made cookies, a cup of tea or other beverage while we share a special devotion together. This will be an informal time to share blessings, concerns, achievements or those everyday occurrences of life within your LIFE Group. Let’s gather together for a relaxing time of sharing and caring.
This LIFE Group meets at 10:00am in the Fellowship Hall on the first Monday of the month in October and November. Join Karen Range and Sue Cummins.
6- Walk it Out LIFE Group
Love the outdoors? Then, get out and walk. Join the Walk It Out LIFE Group and convene with friends for fellowship and good exercise. Walk, talk and pray! It’s good for your heart and soul. Members will choose different locations in and around the valley to enjoy some variety (transportation may be required).
Group meets on Saturdays for one to two hours, weather permitting.
7- Quilter’s LIFE Group
Join our Quilter’s LIFE Group every other Tuesday and learn how to make beautiful quilts to give as presents to our baptism candidates, confirmation Class graduates and to donate to The Lutheran World Relief, Valley Restart, Birth Choice, Salvation Army, etc..
Group meets every Tuesday from 9:00 to 11 am in the Fellowship Hall.
8- Knit and Knosh LIFE Group
Are you a knitter and a light snacker? Then, what are you waiting for? Join the Knit and Knosh LIFE Group. Yes, this is fun. Join this group and create beautiful pieces to donate to the ‘Magic Yarn Project’ and ‘Birth Choice for Kids’. What a great opportunity to have fellowship with other believers and to bless the lives of the little ones.
Group meets Tuesdays at 9am in the Fellowship Hall beginning October 1st through November 26th.
